A number of organisations were invited to partner with us in forming the UN RCE-MD. Partners were involved in the development of the local chapter of a global network for Education for Sustainability (EfS), the UN RCE-MD, which provides an exciting and beneficial opportunity to:

  • build on existing EfS initiatives and activities;
  • showcase initiatives and projects related to sustainable development;
  • collaborate and share information and ideas with other organisations;
  • meet an organisation’s strategic goals for sustainability, economic development and planning;
  • leverage funding to achieve the UN RCE-MD goals.

The following organisations were invited to offer their support in the application process because of the key roles they play in EfS in the southern Murray-Darling Basin and their capacity to continue their commitment to the UN RCE-MD:
